Eric Cardwell

Eric S. Cardwell is the 2018-2019 Past President of the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) and currently serves as lead instructor for the National Aspiring Principals Academy a joint partnership between NAESP and the School Superintendents Association (AASA). Eric began his education career at Les Cheneaux Elementary School in Cedarville, Michigan where he served as a teacher and then principal.  He has also served as principal of Sanborn Elementary and Besser Elementary Schools.  Eric has been a member of NAESP since 2000 and has served on its Board of Directors as President-Elect, Vice President, and Director of Zone 6.  He has also been active in the Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association.
